Rexroth HMV Power Supply

The HMV Power Supply module series is the current power supply for Rexroth’s IndraDrive system. As with earlier power supply modules, a single power supply unit can operate a number of drives with a single connection to the mains.

HMV Power Supply modules are designed to be used with IndraDrive M drive controllers. The power supply unit loops the 24 V control voltage of an external 24 V power supply through to the drive controllers and communicates with the drive controllers through a module bus.

HMV Power Supply units are extremely flexible, and come in both regenerative and non-regenerative versions. Regenerative units (those labeled “HMV01.1R” in the list below) feed generated power back to the mains, while the non-regenerative units (labelled “HMV01.1E”) do not.

These are state of the art power supply units, the most current available. Nonetheless, it’s important to make sure that your HMV units are in proper operating condition. Using faulty power supply units can be extremely dangerous.
What’s more, troubleshooting and repair of power supply units on the machine can be very time-consuming, leading to costly downtime. It is much more practical to replace the unit entirely. Since Rexroth electric drive and control units are modular, replacing the faulty module does not require reconfiguration. Remove the faulty unit and drop in a new unit of the same kind.
Factory repair and reman are practical options for HMV Power Supply modules, and we can supply emergency replacement units to minimize downtime while repairs take place.
