Bosch Rexroth Aluminum on the Rise

Did you ever think that the Bosch Rexroth aluminum framing could be used to build a house? MoMa teamed up with a bunch of architects and engineers who specialize in using tools that can be configured for any situation. Manufacturing supplies from Bosch Rexroth fit the bill. Why? Because Rexroth aluminum framing can be set up for many different configurations while still fitting together as it should.

They created a building called the Cellophane House, made out of special cellophane material that generates electricity for the home and Rexroth aluminum framing for the shells. While we’re not sure we’d want to live in a completely clear building, it’s interested to see how manufacturing parts that are in our daily lives can be used for other solutions. Check out this video to find out more about the Cellophane House that used Bosch Rexroth aluminum.

While we don’t repair aluminum framing, we’re always on the lookout for new and innovative ways Bosch Rexroth and Indramat parts and equipment are being used. Robotics are an easy place to see innovation but seeing industrial aluminum framing used in home building is a refreshing look at the bones of a lot of manufacturing systems. Without strong bones, Indramat and Rexroth servo drives and motors wouldn’t work properly to get the job done.

But just as the framework for your Indramat system is important, the parts that do the work are at the top of the list for things you care about. If you’re looking for repairs for your Indramat or Rexroth equipment, we can help you stay on top of that list. We have emergency replacement servo drives and servo motors in stock to get you back up and running immediately and always have our parts factory repaired so you can count on them when it matters.
