One of the best parts of the IndraDyn S MSK series of servomotors is that they are highly protected with a IP65 rating. IP ratings describe ingress protection from both intrusion from dust, fingers, and other objects and water. The first digit, in this case a 6, describes the intrusion protection. 6 denotes that MSK servomotors are dust tight, meaning dust cannot get inside the motor. The second digit, in this case a 5, describes the water protection level. 5 means that MSK motors can be washed with water jets not exceeding 30 kPa at a distance of at least 3mm for three minutes at a rate of no more than 12.5 liters per minute. MSK motors are perfect for conditions that are dusty or require wash downs. Because MSK motors are water resistant and dust tight, they’re great servomotors to use in conditions that require cooling with liquids.
