Paul Cooke, president and CEO of Bosch Rexroth North America, will retire at the end of the year after 38 years with the company. The new president and CEO, Greg Gumbs, began with the company yesterday, and will step into his new position on December 1st.
Gumbs will be located in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is an electrical engineer with degrees from DeVry University and Case Western. Most recently, he has been vice president and general manager of Electrical Automation Solutions at Eaton Corp.
Before joining Eaton in 2007, Gumbs worked with the Global Technical Service Group of Rockwell Automation, Inc. He held several different positions with Rockwell, ending his tenure there as Director of Commercial Sales Support and Market Development.
