So why the hatred?
It’s simple. Rexroth Indramat drives rarely fail. Often, we get an emergency call because an Indramat drive is acting up, and it’s the first time in twenty or thirty years that anyone has even looked at it.
Obviously, the guys on the floor have very little experience with these drives.
Rexroth-Bosch doesn’t sell factory replacement parts, no one in the plant has done any troubleshooting, and all of a sudden they’re filling out a malfunction report with questions about the humidity level and five spaces for serial numbers.
Of course they hate it.
