When you open up your servo cabinet to see what’s inside—and maybe how to fix it—you’re likely to see one of three names. It can be confusing, but check for one or more of these:
- Bosch
- Rexroth
- Indramat
You might see Bosch Rexroth, Rexroth Bosch Group, or Indramat Rexroth.
Bosch, Rexroth, and Indramat are all now under one brand, Bosch Rexroth, but at one time they were all separate. Indramat was bought out by Rexroth and Rexroth was purchased by Bosch. The company is now known as Bosch Rexroth. But when you open up your cabinets, you may not see the Bosch Rexroth name. You may see Indramat, Rexroth, Rexroth Indramat, or another variation.
Confused?
Don’t worry—just because the companies have changed hands and the names aren’t the same, your servo didn’t necessarily get left behind. Today, Bosch Rexroth still supports its legacy servo motors. You need some specialized knowledge to get the right repairs done, but you can still get factory repair and reman. We are ready to support you with factory repair and reman.
Despite all the changes, Bosch Rexroth subscribes to the same tenets of quality that Indramat and Rexroth did in the past. That’s also why they don’t sell replacement parts to any third party shops, even for legacy models. Instead, they keep it all in-house to make sure anything with a Bosch Rexroth, Indramat, or Rexroth name is up to snuff. Getting your servos taken care of is where our company comes in.
