Third-party repair is a mistake
Rexroth doesn’t authorize third party repair shops or provide parts for them. The photo below shows an example of a “repair” by a local shop. Third-party repairs void your warranty and can introduce new problems.
Factory repair is a new lease on life
Factory repair returns your components to you in like-new condition with a new warranty. Sometimes your components will actually be better than new. When the technology has improved since your component went into service, factory repair will replace the old parts with the newer versions, at no additional cost.
Rexroth even supports legacy components manufactured by Indramat. Rexroth acquired Indramat and now gives a nod to that history with their IndraDrive range and IndraSize software. The Indramat company no longer exists, but factory repair and reman continues to be an option.
Emergency replacement units
When you don’t have time to wait for factory repair or reman, you have a faster option. We have the nation’s largest selection of replacement units. These are Rexroth and Indramat components which have already been through the repair or reman process. They come to you with a warranty from the factory.
You could choose a used component from eBay or Amazon Marketplace, but that’s a gamble. We often talk with floor managers who have already been through the cost and effort of finding, buying, and installing that kind of emergency replacement unit. When it doesn’t work, they turn to our replacement units. It would have been cheaper to start with us.
