A New CEO for Rexroth

Erwin Wieckowski, P.Eng. has been named as the new President and CEO of Bosch Rexroth North and Central America. He succeeds Gregory Gumbs, who led the company from 2020 to 2023.

Erwin Wieckowski was previously Vice President of Operations for Parker Hannifin, and before that was briefly self-employed as a partner in JELCO Industrial Consultants. For 13 years prior to that, however, he was with Rexroth, first as General Manager bs Sales Director and then as Vice President. 

He was educated at the University of Waterloo.

Bosch Rexroth has locations in 80 countries, with 32,100 associate worldwide — 3,400 in North America. They have annual revenue of more than 7 billion euros — that’s $7,335,650,000. For North America alone, the total revenue approaches $1.5 billion.

Their North American headquarters is in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Rexroth began as a foundry in 1795, merged with Bosch in 2001, and has since 2017 been a leader in the 4th Industrial Revolution, driving the digital transformation of the Factory of the Future.
